TRAVEL
Flights
Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE)
The most convenient option, Eagle County Regional Airport is just 30 minutes from Vail Village and offers direct flights from many major U.S. cities. Perfect for an easy, scenic arrival to the mountains.
Denver International Airport (DEN)
For more flight options, fly into Denver International Airport, located about two hours east of Vail. From there, you can rent a car or take a mountain shuttle for a stunning drive through the Rockies.
Transportation
Epic Mountain Express
Epic is a shuttle company that offers air[ort transportation to Vail. Please use the link here to get 10% off your ride. The discount will be automatically applied to the total.
Getting Around Vail
Ride-share services such as Uber and Lyft are extremely limited and often unreliable in the Vail area. Fortunately, getting around is still very easy.
If you are staying within Vail Village, most locations (including the gondola to our wedding venue), are within walking distance. In addition, a complimentary shuttle bus runs regularly throughout the village, making it simple to hop on and off while exploring. The shuttles run on a continuous loop from 6:30-1:30am daily. There are numerous stops throughout the village and they typically pickup at each stop every 5-10 minutes.
A car is only necessary if you plan to explore outside of Vail Village. Within the village, you’ll find excellent hiking trails, restaurants, shops, and more.
Altitude
Vail sits at over 8,000 feet in elevation, so if you’re traveling from a lower altitude, we recommend drinking plenty of water, taking it easy on your first day, and staying well hydrated throughout the weekend.
Spas around the village often have oxygen bars for those feeling like they need an extra boost.
